WordPress London Meetup and Cloudflare

The WordPress London Meetup is a monthly meetup for web professionals or end users who interact with WordPress. A free, inclusive & open event held the last Thursday of the month in central London. The format is usually 2-3 talks, an open Q&A session, followed by networking at a local bar.

Since June 2018 #WPLDN has been very kindly hosted by the team at the Yoti London offices. The team there have been amazing, they’ve truly gone above and beyond. However the space is limited and the events are growing.

So the WPLDN Meetup is moving venues 🎉

Our new ‘home’ for at least the next twelve months will be the brand new Cloudflare offices in London’s County Hall, the building just behind the London Eye.

About The Space

The space will hold up to 280 attendees, so plenty of room for the WordPress London Meetup to grow! There is a large entry way for people coming into our 6th floor lobby where check-in will be managed. Once inside the event space, you will see a large, open kitchen area which will be used for our event food and beverages. Beyond that is Cloudflare’s all-hands space.

We have several gender-neutral toilets for your guests’ use as well.

Upon Arrival

Take the elevator to the sixth floor, be aware of which elevator you take! Not all travel to the same floors. Once at the sixth floor, enter the Cloudflare lobby area and to your left will be the event space.

Food & Beverages

As you pass through the lobby into the event space, the first area you will enter will be the kitchen. Cloudflare have kindly agreed to provide WPLDN attendees with food and beverages for the evening. So please help yourself upon arrival.

The Event Space

With three large digital screens and enough space for us to grow, the event space will ensure you can enjoy the night of WordPress related content.

So whilst we are sad to be saying goodbye to the Yoti space, we’re very happy to see the WordPress London Meetup growing again. We look forward to welcoming you to our first WPLDN event at the new Cloudflare London offices on Thursday 27th June 2019.
