Calling All Artists & Writers…

share

If you’re an artist or writer with skills to share, we want you!

We are creating a Big Orange Heart adult coloring and meditation book. According to the Cleveland Clinic, adult coloring can relax your brain. With that in mind, and our goals for good mental wellbeing for our community, we will create a coloring book for our community to purchase for themselves or others.

How you can help:

  • Donate a line drawing (or two or more) that can be printed in the coloring book. (You will maintain ownership of your artwork, and give Big Orange Heart rights to publish your artwork in this coloring book.)
  • Create a meditation or write a meditative/relaxing essay that we can include in between coloring pictures to contribute to one of the following themes: peace, relaxation, serenity, and calm.
  • Buy copies for your teammates, coworkers, other community members, family and friends.
  • Share the link to purchase, once it’s available.

Artwork should be photo ready for an 8.5 x 11″ book. Meditations or essays should be 300 words or less. Artists and writers will have their headshot and bio included in the publication. The deadline for final submissions is September 15, 2021.

Interested in including your artwork or writing for the publication? Email [email protected] and we will be in touch with how to share your work with us. Questions? Email Michelle and she will get you answers.
