Delivering WordFest Live 2021

Delivering the first WordFest Live 2021 was no small undertaking. We started from scratch and literally had to build the venue from the ground up. The result was a 24-hour virtual festival of WordPress with 48 sessions, delivered free of charge to over 2,300 attendees.

I decided to share a fairly comprehensive write up on the Big Orange Heart blog, titled WordFest Live 2021… Looking Back. In which I covered some of what it took to deliver. In this post, I got technical, practical, as well as a little personal at times.

I truly hope there is value in this post for you. It was an honour to deliver the first WordFest Live to our community and I’m looking forward to the next one already!
